Method
- Add the milk, turmeric, ginger, coconut oil or ghee, black pepper, and optional cinnamon to a small saucepan.
- Heat gently over medium heat, stirring often, until warm and fragrant. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in honey or maple syrup if using.
- Strain if using fresh turmeric or ginger, then pour into mugs.
- Serve warm, or froth with a whisk or milk frother for a golden milk latte.

Always include black pepper and a source of fat to improve curcumin absorption. Avoid boiling to preserve nutrients. You can strain the drink if using fresh turmeric or ginger. Sweeten lightly or enjoy unsweetened for bedtime.
