- Boil water and let it cool slightly so it is hot but not boiling.
- Add the grated fresh ginger to a mug.
- Pour the hot water over the ginger and let it steep for 5–7 minutes.
- Stir in the lemon juice and apple cider vinegar.
- Add a pinch of cayenne or cinnamon if using.
- Sip slowly, preferably on an empty stomach.

Notes
Drink first thing in the morning or 30 minutes before meals for best results. Avoid if you have ulcers, severe acid reflux, or are on blood thinners without consulting a doctor. You can add cinnamon instead of cayenne for hormonal balance or skip vinegar during fasting.
