Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin or 1 packet
  • ½ cup hot water 130-140°F, not boiling
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

Method
 

  1. Heat water to 130-140°F (hot but not boiling).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk gelatin powder with half the water for 5 seconds until it starts to dissolve.
  3. Add the rest of the water and lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. Stir fast and well until completely dissolved.
  4. Pour mixture into a small glass dish or silicone mold.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 to 60 minutes until set.
  6. Eat 15-20 minutes before a meal or when cravings hit.

  • Don't let gelatin sit too long in hot water or it may lose its setting power
