Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp unflavored gelatin
  • 240 ml herbal tea or electrolyte water
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice or monk fruit (optional)

Equipment

  • Small bowl
  • saucepan or microwave-safe cup
  • stirring spoon or whisk
  • silicone molds or small glass dish

Method
 

  1. Bloom your gelatin.
    Pour ¼ cup of the cold liquid into a bowl. Sprinkle gelatin on top and let it sit for 5 minutes until it gels.
  2. Heat the remaining liquid.
    Warm the remaining ¾ cup of herbal tea or electrolyte water until steaming but not boiling.
  3. Stir to dissolve.
    Pour the hot liquid into the bloomed gelatin while stirring until completely dissolved. Add lemon juice or monk fruit if using.
  4. Chill to set.
    Pour the mixture into a dish or silicone molds and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
