Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda (food-grade)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 240 ml warm water
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional)

Method
 

  1. Pour the warm water into a mug and add the fresh lemon juice.
  2. Stir in the baking soda. The mixture will fizz lightly this is normal.
  3. If desired, mix in the honey until dissolved.
  4. Drink immediately while warm, preferably on an empty stomach.
